Formspree charges by subscription plan, with submission allowances shared across the account. Annual billing costs less than twelve monthly payments, but requires a yearly commitment. Choose the capabilities you need as well as submission volume before comparing a managed plan with self-hosting.

Limits are account-wide, not per form: the embedded catalog uses account_monthly_submissions. Unlimited forms do not mean unlimited submissions. Monthly and annual controls were inspected independently; USD is identified by the vendor's public pricing JSON-LD.

Annual prices are monthly equivalents of $120, $240 and $720 yearly subscriptions. Monthly payments are $15, $30 and $90. Taxes and negotiated terms are separate; no checkout or purchase was performed.

The pricing matrix describes up to five attachments per submission, each up to 25 MB, on plans with file storage. That allowance is separate from the total stored-file quota. Free has no file-storage allowance.

Count submissions across all your forms

Make an inventory of every website and form attached to the account. A portfolio contact form, a waitlist and a campaign landing page consume the same plan allowance. The public catalog explicitly distinguishes account-wide submission limits from the number of forms; the visible plan comparison agrees.

For example, three forms receiving 80 submissions each use 240 submissions in the month. That exceeds Personal's 200-submission allowance even though each individual form stays below 200. Professional has enough published volume for that example, but check whether you need its integrations and whether your traffic is predictable. This is allowance arithmetic, not a purchasing recommendation or a tested overflow behavior.

Compare the yearly invoice with monthly payments

Personal costs $120 on yearly billing, compared with $180 for twelve $15 monthly payments. Professional costs $240 for the year, compared with $360 across twelve monthly payments. Business costs $720 for the year, compared with $1,080 across twelve monthly payments. Those differences are $60, $120 and $360 respectively, before taxes or negotiated terms.

The browser's Monthly and Yearly controls were checked separately. The public JSON-LD identifies USD and lists monthly rates; the embedded catalog provides matching yearly totals. A $10 annual monthly equivalent does not mean a $10 month-to-month subscription. Custom remains a sales quote, not a zero-dollar plan.

Choose a feature tier as well as a volume tier

Personal includes the basic plugin family and a custom thank-you redirect. Professional adds premium plugins, autoresponses and programmatic access to submissions. Business adds email customization, rules and priority support. Inspect the current comparison for a specific integration before choosing a plan based only on the headline submission count.

The dashboard export documentation lists CSV and JSON export for Personal, Professional and Business. Export and the submissions API are different features. Do not assume Free includes paid export, or that upgrading to Personal provides the Professional API.

Budget for files and retained data

An attachment limit per submission is different from the account's stored-file allowance. Plan a retention policy and consider how frequently users submit large files. A form collecting short text has a different storage workload from one collecting documents. Confirm limits and expected behavior when quotas are reached with the vendor before a high-volume campaign; this review did not submit a form or exercise overflow handling.

Compare infrastructure cost with operating work

FormZero's reviewed entry is useful when you want the source and storage in your own account. Workers and D1 quotas replace the vendor's product limits, while maintenance, spam controls and optional SMTP service costs become your responsibility. We have not established equivalent notification delivery, attachment handling or a measured saving.

Is Formspree free?

Its current Free plan allows 50 submissions per month across the account and 30 days of submission history. The vendor markets it for testing and development. Unlimited forms do not multiply the submission allowance.

How much is Formspree Personal?

The verified USD rate is $15 with monthly billing, or $10 per month equivalent on a $120 yearly subscription, before applicable taxes or account-specific terms.

Does every plan include autoresponses and API access?

The current comparison places autoresponses and the submissions API on Professional and above. Dashboard CSV/JSON export is documented for Personal, Professional and Business.
