UptimeRobot pricing, monitor tiers and extra costs

UptimeRobot prices depend on the plan, monitor count and billing period. This guide preserves the figures and currency symbol observed on the public page, distinguishes add-ons, and calls out conflicting interval and currency sources before you budget.

The table preserves the observed $ symbol and figures from both live billing controls and embedded HTML. The linked pricing.md labels matching figures as EUR geo amounts, so these are not confirmed USD or AUD rates. Confirm the numeral, currency, taxes and terms in your own checkout.

Solo and Scale prices change with monitor count; Team is the 100-monitor tier. Annual equivalents represent a yearly commitment. Extra login/notify seats and SMS or voice credits are separate purchases.

The pricing page and its embedded catalog agree on Team 30-second and Scale 15-second checks. The help article instead states Team one-minute and Scale 30-second checks. These conflicting sources do not establish the interval your account will receive.

Start with monitor count and the checks you need

Count distinct endpoints, jobs and services, then identify the required check types. A Free account's 50 monitors do not make it equivalent to Solo's 50-monitor tier. Faster cadence, advanced monitor types and status-page controls can be the reason to pay, even when the monitor count is unchanged.

The table above shows both available Solo tiers, the fixed Team tier, both Scale tiers and quote-only Enterprise. It uses the current plan names; older pages that treat Enterprise as the top fixed-price self-serve tier do not describe the current pricing layout. UptimeFlare's reviewed entry is the self-hosted alternative to evaluate when you want source ownership rather than a managed subscription.

Monthly payments and annual commitments are different

At the observed 50-monitor Solo tier, monthly billing displays $22 per month. Annual billing displays $19 per month equivalent, or $228 for the year. Twelve monthly payments would total $264, a difference of $36 before add-ons, taxes or account-specific terms. This arithmetic uses the displayed figures; it does not establish their ISO currency or a checkout quote.

For Team, the observed annual equivalent is $35 per month with a $420 yearly total, versus $41 for monthly billing. Select the needed monitor count before comparing: choosing a lower-priced 10-monitor Solo card for a 40-monitor setup would understate the subscription you need.

Currency context needs confirmation

The live browser and embedded HTML showed a $ symbol. The vendor's machine-readable pricing file explicitly labels matching plan figures as EUR geo marketing amounts and warns that other regions can differ. Those two contexts do not justify relabeling the browser figures as USD, EUR or AUD.

Our table retains the observed symbol and gives the source conflict. Confirm the exact amount, currency, billing period and taxes in your own checkout before using these numbers as a purchasing budget. We did not create an account, start checkout or retrieve negotiated rates.

Free, team access and status pages

The current Free plan has 50 monitors, five-minute checks, a basic status page and three-month retention. The current Free-plan help article allows commercial use. Solo adds three status pages with an own-domain option and 12-month retention, but no login seats. Team includes three login seats and three notify seats; Scale includes five of each.

A login seat can manage the account; a notify seat receives alerts. Do not budget them as interchangeable. Additional seats and SMS/voice credits are separate purchases. The billing terms describe one-time prepaid credit packs with optional auto-refill; packs should not be mistaken for an unlimited alert allowance. Notification destinations and expected incident volume belong in your estimate.

Two official sources disagree on intervals

The current pricing page advertises Team checks every 30 seconds and Scale checks every 15 seconds. Its embedded catalog agrees. The monitoring-interval help article instead says Team is one minute and Scale is 30 seconds. We preserve that conflict instead of promising a guaranteed account interval. Confirm the applicable entitlement with the vendor when cadence is a purchasing requirement.

Compare the full cost of self-hosting

Use the alternatives shortlist and UptimeFlare comparison to compare operating responsibility. Free source and eligible infrastructure do not replace maintenance, alert testing or recovery. The Cloudflare pilot guide follows the pinned Terraform, CI and runtime sources; no monitor-load benchmark or zero-cost deployment was performed.

Is Enterprise a fixed-price UptimeRobot plan?
